Why McCance
Civils and electrics under one contract
On most sites, the groundworks contractor and the electrical contractor work to separate programmes, and the interface between them, from duct routes to plant bases, is where delays start. We deliver both, so cable routes, draw pits and bases are built for the electrical installation that follows.

FAQs
For procurement teams
Do you work as a subcontractor to main contractors?
Yes. Most of our work is delivered as a subcontractor to main contractors, and we can take on civils packages, electrical packages, or both together.
Which accreditations do you hold?
McCance Construction Ltd holds Constructionline Gold and SSIP accreditation. Our electrical work is carried out under NAPIT registration. Certificates and insurance details are included in our pre-qualification pack.
Can you work on high-level electrical equipment?
Yes. We're IRATA-trained in rope access, so we can install and service high-level containment and lighting, and carry out EICRs on high-level equipment in commercial and industrial buildings, without scaffolding or large access platforms.
Can you work outside the South East?
Yes. We're based in East Grinstead and take on projects anywhere in the UK.
